This guide wouldn't exist without Dionkill.

Is it reversible? Will it delete all my games and saves?

Yes. No data is overwritten. The Linux setup uses either:

• A virtual disk file (internal method)
• Or an external drive (no internal changes)

What consoles are compatible?

All consoles that can run a homebrew enabler (like GoldHEN or ps4hen) are able to run Linux. But how you run Linux is also dependent on your southbridge, which will be covered in later sections.

At the time of writing, the newest compatible firmware is Up to 13.00.

You should be able to get a working installation either way regardless of your southbridge.
